伝統的な螺鈿技法を基盤に、デジタル的な構造や情報の概念を取り入れた独自の表現を展開。微細な貝片による幾何学的構成を通して、光の干渉や構造色を用い、物質と情報の境界を可視化する作品を制作している。

Currently based in Kanazawa, Japan
Rooted in traditional raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) techniques, Ikeda develops a distinctive practice he describes as “Cyber Raden,” integrating digital structures and concepts of information into his work. Through meticulously arranged fragments of shell, his works explore light interference and structural color, visualizing the boundary between material and information.
